SHERRY WANG

​With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Sherry Wang inspires students of all ages and levels, from enthusiastic beginners to aspiring music conservatory students. She fosters a lifelong love of music by encouraging exploration and creativity at the piano. Her annual student recitals, with specific themes, provide performance opportunities, motivate students to challenge themselves and share their musical growth and bring precious joy with family and friends. 


Ms. Sherry Wang emphasizes the development of foundational skills and effective practice habits, providing patient and structured guidance for long-term success. Her dedication has helped many students achieve top results in international piano exams and competitions.  As the 1st prize winner at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) piano concerto competition, she was also honored "Bach New Voices" and performed at the renowned Bach Hall. Her passion for music expands to composition, with published chorus works and a second-place award in the "Hakka New Songs" competition. In Taiwan, she has taught music specialty students and also serves as a piano accompanist for the Hsinchu Philharmonic Chorus further demonstrates her versatility. Finished most of the professional training in Taiwan, she ever got the scholarship and joined Bowdoin international music festivals and academic offer from Manhattan school of music, New England Conservatory of music, Peabody Conservatory of music for graduated study and Michigan State University for DMA further graduated study.


In 2023, Ms. Wang relocated to California, where she premiered her original chorus composition, "The Magnolia," at the Union Church of Cupertino. In 2025, she performed “F. Chopin: Minute Waltz Op.64 No.1” as a featured soloist in the “Carnival of the Animals” concert held at Santa Clara University Music Recital Hall.
