

Iris Lin
Iris Lin is a dedicated piano and cello teacher who believes that music is not just about notes, but about expression, curiosity, and personal growth. Combining her experiences as a performer and educator, she creates lessons that are engaging, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s journey.
Lin earned her Master of Music in Piano from Northern Illinois University under the guidance of Dr. Golenberg, where she also served as a Group Piano Assistant, gaining experience teaching piano in a collaborative and classroom setting. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan, where she studied with Dr. Peitee Tsung. She began studying piano at the age of six and brings her long-standing training into a student-centered teaching approach.
Lin’s lessons emphasize engaging and enjoyable, musical literacy, and expressive playing, while adapting to each student’s individual goals and learning style. Through creative exercises and inspiring repertoire, she aims to help students fall in love with their instrument and cultivate a lasting connection to music.
