Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Chia-Chia Shen started her music studies at age of 7. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and a Master of Music degree from University of Southern California. Ms. Chia-Chia has been awarded many prizes and enjoys participating in music festivals, including Philadelphia Young Piano’s Academy (2017) and American Liszt Society-Southern California Mini Piano Festival (2019).

As a music teacher, Ms. Chia-Chia has had years of piano teaching experience and always devotes herself to music education. Her teaching philosophy is to optimize students’ experiences of learning by understanding every individual’s unique ability, including strengths and weaknesses to spark the joy of learning music in students. Through her thoughtful teaching, music can be the rainbow of students’ lives and allows them to see different colors with their distinguished eyes.
