He has served as a piano instructor at well-regarded academies in the Bay Area. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that music education should be both structured and inspiring. He emphasizes strong foundational technique, sight-reading, ear training, and music theory, while also encouraging students to explore improvisation, composition, and emotional expression through music. His film compositions are noted for their emotional depth, lush orchestration, and ability to blend traditional and modern textures. In addition to film work, he was involved in the production of background music for television dramas through Kizcastle, showcasing his range in both commercial and artistic musical contexts.
His creative output also includes original classical works composed during his time at Yonsei University, including flute sonatas, piano variations, string quartets, and multi-instrumental fusion pieces—all of which he performed himself on piano.
