Shisheng Song

Shisheng Song, born in Tsingtao, China, began his music education journey at the age of six. He joined an affiliated middle school of Tianjin Conservatory of Music. Upon entering, he was recommended to Tianjin Conservatory of Music without an audition. During his time there, he studied in the String Department under chairman Prof. Ke Qu. He was also a concertmaster of Tianjin Conservatory of Music's Orchestra. During this time, he was a faculty member of Tianjin Children's Palace violin department, teaching private and group violin lessons.

After graduating from Tianjin Conservatory of Music, he joined the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra before becoming an official member of Ningbo Symphony Orchestra. Shortly, he was promoted by the artistic director and chief conductor who is also the president of China Central Conservatory of Music, Feng Yu, to become the acting principal of Ningbo Symphony Orchestra. He coached the string section of Ningbo Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as having a private studio where a lot of his students attended Central Conservatory of Music or Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

In August 2022, he decided to continue his music education in the United States, studying under Prof. Yoojin Jang at Eastman School of Music for his Master's of Music. During his time as a student, he was also an intern faculty of Eastman Community school of Music.
