Ms. Su Law, our main teaching artist for adult piano students, both classical and contemporary style, started learning the piano from a young age. Throughout her life she has been honored to have the opportunity to study under many master teachers, including Lilian Wu, Rose Chen, and You-Jing Hu.

Ms. Chen minored in piano performance at University of Wisconsin while receiving her Master's Degree. She is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT), and she is also an Orff certified teacher and trainer. Recently, Ms. Chen also went abroad to the United Kingdom and Taiwan for workshops and training.

For her adult students, whether they have always wanted to play before but have not had a chance to start or have recently discovered a newfound passion to learn, she has created a curriculum designed for those with no prior musical learning background. Through her fun and exciting classes, students are able to see tremendous progress!

Ms. Chen loves to help her students build an interest in learning and pursuing musical dreams in a comfortable environment free of judgment or pressure. She believes that music is especially rewarding for adults, especially in the busy Bay Area, as it is a great outlet for relieving stress, expressing your more creative side, and it has health benefits from exercising the brain!
