


Ching-An Hsueh
Ching-An (Ann) Hsueh is a violinist, educator, and conductor, and a Doctorate candidate at Arizona State University. Her related areas of study include piano and conducting. She previously earned her Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Soochow University in Taiwan. As both a educator and performer, Hsueh is committed to mentoring young musicians,
with an emphasis on technical development, musical understanding, and confident performance. Her students have been selected for competitive ensembles such as the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and Mesa Youth Symphony, and have participated in regional honor ensembles including the Texas All-Region Orchestra.
Hsueh is also active in conducting, leading youth and community ensembles. She serves as
conductor of the Evangelical Formosan Church Youth Symphony and the 8 Foundation Orchestra, and has led community-based orchestras that provide performance opportunities for young and emerging musicians.
Hsueh performs as a soloist and chamber musician, with appearances in Arizona, Texas, Taiwan, and Korea. As a member of the Maina Quartet and a violinist with the West Valley Symphony, she is actively engaged in both chamber and orchestral performance. Her work includes solo and chamber performances, as well as participation in community and benefit concerts.
